About Me

Artistic Statement

My goal as an artist, composer, and performer is to create fun, exciting works that evoke a sense of otherworldliness.

My work explores themes like dreams, childhood, obsession, urban decay, spirituality, and rebirth.

I primarily write chamber music and electroacoustic/acousmatic experiments strongly featuring piano, pipe organ, detuned guitars, and my casio tonebank keyboard. I like making sounds that I have never heard before. Sometimes I make videos, visual art, and text that go with my music. I also collaborate with other people.

Bio

I grew up in Rapid City, SD. After high school I worked various jobs and lived in various places, including AmeriCorps in Baltimore, Conservation Corps in Missoula, and many months spent in foreign countries trying not to run out of money saved up delivering pizzas.

I've played in a few noise bands based out of Rapid City, and have edited some zines, including the current serial "Vicious Minds" which showcases local weird fiction/horror writers in the Black Hills.

I attended Black Hills State University from 2019-2022 and received my BS in Music.
